Dear Friends,

Pandering to fellow homosexual activists, openly-homosexual D.C. Council member David Catania will introduce a bill tomorrow to allow "same-sex marriages" in Washington, D.C. This tramples on D.C. citizens' efforts to get a marriage initiative on the ballot so that the voices of all residents can be heard.

If this bill passes as expected (since 10 out of 13 council members already signed onto the bill), then Congress will have 30 days to stop the bill from becoming law. Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has introduced a bill that would define marriage in the District as one man and one woman.

However, this battle needs your help! Please call your Representatives and Senators at 202-224-3121 and ask them to keep the definition of marriage in D.C. as one man and one woman. The D.C. City Council is belligerently denying D.C. citizens the opportunity to vote in a scheme to ram same-sex "marriage" down the throat of the nation's capital.
