Even Susan Sarandon, a popular actress in an anti-ex-gay industry, acknowledges that being ex-gay is possible
QUOTE: Sarandon on Fluid ‘Gay’ Identity
The following is excerpted from an interview with actress and gay rights supporter Susan Sarandon in OUT, a gay magazine:
OUT: … Are you 100% hetero?
[Sarandon]: Like Alan Cumming, I don’t like any kind of labels. You’re open to all kinds of things and eventually you find your balance. I had a longtime relationship with someone who’s gay. He was fabulous! He had never been with a woman before. We didn’t split up because of that. I tell my kids it’s not about gender — the hard part is deciding if you want to truly be intimate with another person.
OUT: You’re one of few people who could probably turn me straight.
[Sarandon]: You never know what’s going to happen, Michael.
